Lorraine Goldbloom is one of the only five training practitioners and founding members of VortexHealing in the world for this healing path, explains her attraction for this work as a chosen field she searched for in order to help others heal of everyday issues. She did not expect that it would also evolve into a path where she can transmit this healing lineage to her students and observe how the energy, she sees as one sent by the Divine can advance a person's "awakening" to the Divine; where one can start to experience what it means to awaken to the Divine within ourselves. This is done so we can stop experiencing each other as separate beings, and put issues in our life to the side. This healing path is one which would seem to many as woo woo, because of the trigger words associated with it. For example the roots of this path is connected to channeling a divine consciousness that was sent to help humanity over many generations associated with a divinity known as Merlin, not the wizard of King Arthur fame. The name Merlin was used because at one time it was a name that would be accepted in the country it appeared in, but has had other incarnations in other parts of the world and lived under different names. Ric Weiman is the founder of VortexHealing and named it VortexHealing as that is how he encountered it, when he came in contact with it, as a swirling vortex in front of him. At the time he was a practitioner at that time using other forms of healing. There are few practitioners of VortexHealing because the person who carries it has to be strong enough to handle the vastness of the energy for themselves and to hold it in place for others to receive it. Vortexhealing can address relationship problems, family issues, work conflicts, to name a few things.. This path addresses the very complicated concept that has been hard to understand over the centuries of what is meant by we are part of the Divine, we are not separate from Divine or from others around us; who are the avatars and how do they understand this, and how do we experience the Divine and stop thinking of ourselves as separate beings.

Lorraine Goldbloom is one of the five lead teachers and founding members certified to teach Vortex healing in the US and the world. Lorraine comes from the New York area and grew up with a passion for theater. She pursued this dream and enrolled in performance arts at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts; she worked as a professional actor for some time. She also started to develop other interests in energy healing which were more appealing which includes training in the 3 year levels of Mastery of Usui Reiki. She also has a 200 hour yoga certification. And started to pursue a career in VortexHealing, she now has taught VortexHealing for over 20 years.
Lorraine has also dedicated herself to the Awakening path, The Awakening Path is different from the spiritual path. A spiritual path takes one deeper into a spiritual relationship with life, God, the Divine, etc. The Awakening path is about discovering the truth of what you are, and letting go of identities that keep us in an experience of separation. .
Vortex Healingitself was founded by founded by Ric Weinman in the1990’s after he experienced a spiritual awakening. As a spiritual practice VortexHealing® is regarded as Divine Energy Healing, and a holistic system of multi-dimensional healing and as a tool for inner awakening. Lorraine is now in her 20 year teaching the VortexHealing® Foundational class at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck,, her other courses include Our Karma, Our Journey, and Experiencing the Energetic Anatomy. She has also taught at the New York Open Center, CONVOCATE and has traveled to other teaching engagements in Toronto, London, Amsterdam, and Buenos Aires. Lorraine lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, with her husband and two beloved cats.
