Dr. Richard Brown is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He has been in practice for over 45 years.He has studied yoga, Zen meditation, and breath practices for over decades. He is a certified teacher of Aikido (4th Dan Black Belt), Qi Gong, and after much research/studying several forms of breath work with masters around world, he and his wife, Dr. Gerbarg created a program called Breath-Body-Mind for professionals,yoga teachers, survivors of mass disasters like 911, and the general public.
