Maya Shetreat, is an MD, specifically an adult and pediatric neurologist. She is also an herbalist, urban farmer, and ceremonialist. She works and studies with indigenous communities and healers in Ecuador and is a lifelong student of ethnobotany, plant healing, and the sacred.
